Mauricio Godinho

Mauricio Godinho joined The Immersion Lab team in 2005 and currently heads up the business in Latin America.

He has set up and facilitated a number of In-Market immersions around the world for a diverse group of clients across healthcare, telecommunications, banking and beverages.  His broad based business knowledge, strategic thinking and attention to detail are highly valued by Immersion Lab clients. Mauricio is also Managing Director of The GIC group, a strategic consulting firm that designs IT solutions for the consumer goods sector. Mauricio's skill lies in identifying, customizing and auctioning best practice business models and innovation plans to achieve strategic targets for niche business - a skill he acquired as Strategic Planner for Group Pao de Acucar (the biggest retail company in Latin America) and for Unilever.

He started his career in Management Consulting at Price Waterhouse Coopers applying consumer insights to strategic marketing issues and developing brand building models for Fortune 500 companies. He also worked with Unilever as Marketing Manager developing Brands and Marketing Activation projects for Ice Cream in Latin America. Born and educated in Brazil, Mauricio has an Industrial Engineering degree from the USP - Escola Politécnica da Universidade de São Paulo. Mauricio is based out of Sao Paulo where he lives with his wife and daughter.
