Christie Christelis

Christie is the founder and Head of Research at TSI, a leading research-based consulting company. He has conducted in-depth business research and facilitated executive dialogues on emerging technologies in more than 60 countries around the world across diverse industries, including aerospace, biotechnology, information technology, electronic commerce, financial services, pharmaceuticals and energy. In 2003 Christie launched NEPAD Business Monitor, a periodical publication that provides companies interested in doing business in Africa with essential strategic information about the development of the continent under the New Partnership for Africa's Development (NEPAD). Born and educated in South Africa, Christie has an undergraduate degree in Electronics and a Masters degree in Business. Christie lives in Toronto, but maintains active business and social ties with South Africa.

Few people can say as much with a simple "yes" or "no" as Christie does. His laconic sense of humour is witty, sharp and perfectly matched by a blasé expression and monotone delivery. The only giveaway is the twinkle in his eyes - followed by a toothy grin that is very infectious.
