Richard Plant

Associate Director (South Africa). Richard has spent the greater part of his working life in the area of Talent Management and Human Capital development in the South African banking industry. At various times he headed up the Training and Development arms of both Wesbank, an asset finance house, and First National Bank, one South Africa's leading commercial bank. In addition, Richard spent eight years with the BANKSETA, a para-statal agency for the development of skills in the banking sector. As both the General Secretary and the Manager responsible for all strategic projects, his most high profile projects were the acclaimed International Executive Development Programmes designed for high potential senior African bankers. The programmes ran in both Canada and London.
