A 2006 Smart21 Community that has developed one of the nation's most celebrated municipal WiFi projects.

May 14 - 17 New York, New York
The 2001 Intelligent Community of the Year - Renewed through Mayor Bloomberg's leadership and focus on IT deployment, New York has created a robust broadband infrastructure and successfully harnessed it to grow an increasingly diversified economy.

May 18 - 19 Cleveland, Ohio
A Top Seven Intelligent Community of 2006 that has achieved impressive transformation of the former industrial city through its OneCleveland project; the largest, free, public wireless network in the nation; and a broad-based collaboration led by private sector investors.

May 20 - 21 Waterloo, Ontario, Canada
This 2007 Intelligent Community of the Year is part of Canada's key technology hub as well as a globally renowned cluster of innovation and entrepreneurial activity.

In each community, the ICF Immersion Lab will address all five of the Forum's Intelligent Community Indicators: broadband deployment, workforce development, digital democracy, innovation, and effective marketing. The result is a true immersion experience that will reveal the impact of globalization on your community and identify untapped opportunities for growth.
